Measurment question

Im new to making drinks and Im trying to make a drink and it says 1 dl. How much is dl?

About 3 1/2 oz or 100ml.

I've never actually seen the dl used; just like I've never seen the dm used (that's 10 CM, or 100 MM).

Is that unit of measure really in common use somewhere? I mean, I'm sure it's a valid measure... but we sell 350 ml cans of coke here, not 3.5 dl cans...

I think some of the European countries use dl and cl... a few of the recipes on the site are in that cause I was too lazy to convert em..:) oh well

In Sweden dl (deciliter) is a very common measure, maybe not when it comes to mixing where cl's are commonly used but in baking and cooking etc.
