 I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of Celiac Disease? I have it and can not comsume Gluten from Wheat, Rye, Barley, Oats or their derivatives. I love the Malibu Cocunut Rum. Does anyone know if it is free of those? And if anyone has other information on drinks that are free of gluten, please let me know.
Thanks for all your input!!!!;)

I know of it, and I understand it's important to get the right info.

The best thing to do is to get the information from the manufacturer themselves. Pernod Ricard produce Malibu, try to contact them through their website: http://www.pernod-ricard-usa.com/

As a fellow Celiac, I'd say avoid Vodka at all costs. It's supposed to be gluten free, but I think that's crap. It's based on the size of the gluten protein molecule, not the safety of the product. I was MISERABLE until I switched to gin and tequila as my liquors of choice, though I do expect true potato vodka, with no grain contamination at all, would be fine.

Also, depending on how sensitive you are, there are mixers that can mess you up too, and even if you choose a safe one, if it comes out the 'community' bar nozzle, it'll risk contamination as well.
