is it magic to take 3 different collors from the same shaker?

Hey i have a budy who is a barman and some days age i went at the bar he was working.he told me "see a somethin magic" he has a shaker in his had and 3 shot glasses.he shaked the shaker and begin filling the shot glasses.The first was red the secon was green and the third was yellow?but i am sure that 3 different colors came out of the same shaker!!!does anyone know how?

If he poured them slow enough, it was probably 3 different kinds of alcohol each with a different thickness, that were just floated on top of each other, that werent mixed together. Kind of like oil and vinegar, how they seperate themselves from each other because one is heavier than the other...and just poured them back out one alcohol at a time. Jay
