View Full Version : Presidential Candidates-- who's back you got?
6 months til the first votes for repubs/demos.. anybody caught your interest yet?
I heard a lot about a guy called Ron Paul, saw some youtubes and seems like he has some nice opinions... anybody else feel the same?
Bush is destroying America's foundation as a world nation right now. Who can do better?

i think Ron Paul's idae of `let everybody do what they want` says more problems for america than we have at present............
so i will be voting for a demo with a strong view on fixing the healthcare system, none of them have yet won my vote tho!...

Definetly a fan of Ron Paul, he's what this country needs more then anything.

I'm not sure who to support quite yet, though Ron Paul does seem to have most of my interest so far. I'll definetly keep an eye and ear on him.

I'm interested in seeing Barack Obama as the Democratic Can, and John McCain as the Republican Can. I think they're the best moderate party choices and have the best chance on rallying the country after elected. While Bush only split it further after being re-elected, and yet both of these candidates are dedicated to bi-partisian cooperation and pulling the country back together.

I think political and religious debates are best left out. Brand new forum section... don't want to create trolls right away. Give it a week ... ha.
But, I'd have to say that I would take any of the candidates... Dem or GOP over the choices from last election - Dubya and Kerry. Any change would be good right now.

I like Ron Paul. He is a Libertarian with an "R" next to his name.

Kinda true... I know the new members know better than to argue on politics though *grins*.

If the Presidential election was runoff in a similar fashion to American Idol there would probably be higher voter participation. Hell, with so many candidates it's a viable system!
Then again the biggest winners of American Idol have not always been the actual winners of each season.
