I am a college student writing a paper for a technical writing class on liquor and I was hoping I could gather some information by polling the members of this forum. I will organize and post the results in a week or so.

I have to say that my favourite cocktail of all time is called a Polish Cocktail.
Ingredients are Grapes, freshly sqeezed apple juice, bison grass vodka, honey vodka, fresh lemon and sugar syrup. This cocktail is especially good at christmas as it tastes like christmas cake.....mmmmm

Vodka is by far the most versatile of base liquors I believe simply because vodka has no taste of its own unless its flavoured plus it blends well with all most if not all other brands of liqours and liqueurs.

Other liqours like whisky or say absinthe are more flavourable so they dont always work as well. I also love rum based cocktails as Caipirinhas and Diaquiris are also worthy of respect
