Hey guys,

Which would be the best whisky or whiskey to use in a whisky sour? I hear some people say you should use bourbon and some people say scotch. I realise this might very well be down to personal preference but I'd really like some pointers from the 'professionals'

Yeah, I'm sure it boils down to personal preference. :)

Count me in on the bourbon side. A good sour made with Woodford Reserve or Maker's Mark is my favorite. WR for when I want more kick and more complex flavor, MM for when I want a more casual drink that fits the occasion.
