Can someone point me in the right direction for a decently priced Shaker? I don't need anything extra nice, but one that gets the job done and isn't a fortune would be perfect for my needs.

Go to any bar supply website and get yourself a Boston Shaker. I prefer them to the 3-piece (though there is nothing wrong with those either). The boston shaker is just a mixing tin and a pint glass, and I find it more versitile. There's a reason most bartenders use them over the 3-piece.

I always spill with the 3-piece when pouring.

Also, for may drinks a bartender's long spoony thing is awesome for mixing a cocktail like a martini and manhattan, and you use that in conjunction with the Boston Shaker above.

Happen to have a good bar supply website on tap?

(like it? "on tap"? the pun... no? I'll stop...)

One that doesn't charge an arm and a leg to get to Canada would be nice...

I have bought several bar-related items, including a nice shaker for about $15, at Bed Bath & Beyond. Whenever The Missus goes shopping there and has me along for the ride, you can always find me over where the bar accessories are, without fail. :p

Try see if u can find a local hospitality suply store, a place that supplys specificly to Restaurants, Cafe's, Bars and the like. I used to work at one, and we gave a discount to those that worked for our customers. So ask your boss where they get all their glassware from and try there.

I bought a nice one at Wal-Mart.

Came with a few other things that were very handy.

It was like $15 without taxes.

i can't help you, but i have to say that i founded in Serbia a shaker which base is not round but square and has 4 different recepeis on each side and scales which helps you to pure drinks... Sorry for my English, it sucks i know... :D

To find the one who suits you perfectly, you should make a thorough search around you. If you are not finding anyone, contact a bar which will be able to deliver you what you require. There are many professional as well as individual shakers you can choose from.

Buy Irish Whisky (http://comparethedrinks.com/category/559/Irish-Whisky)

I buy all of my tools at the local bar and restaurant supply store. Check and see if there is one in your area. Personally, I prefer the stainless steel shakers.
