Hey everybody,
this weekend my buddies are throwing me a birthday party, and the theme is "blue" because that is my nickname. So I was wondering what blue colored drink recipes you guys would recommend that are cheap, and can be possibly made in bulk.

The weekend has probably past already, but recipes that use Blue Curacao are the best bet to get blue drinks. I highly recommend Blue Motherfuckers (from this site you should use the Blue Motherfucker #2 recipe though). You could also do Kamikazes but use Blue Curacao instead of triple sec (i.e. clear curacao) - 2-3 oz vodka, 1-1.5 oz blue curacao, 1 oz sweet and sour, splashes of lime juice. The only other drink I can think of that I know is just plain Margaritas, but again, use Blue Curacao instead of regular triple sec.

the blue drinks are very popular and glamourous because the Blue Curacao gives them some special and fancy look...
For anyone in the future - use blue food coloring and add to anything. I used neon green at Halloween and made Long Island Ice tea with all clear liquors and no cola. It was great. I put glow stick in in and dry ice so if looked like a radioactive eery potion. Blue Curacoa is OK but you are stuck with that orangey flavor in everything you make with it - so if you want varity blue food dye will get you the results you desire.
