Hi all!
Anyone have a favourite Port that's not priced outta reach? Love my port with a big cigar - how 'bout you?

OMG - Hardy's Whiskers Blake classic tawny - Wine Spectator rates it @ 94 points (out of 100) and it's less than $15 a bottle in most locations.
This wine is amazing with a strong cheese, like English Stilton or bleu cheese, or just as a straight dessert wine.
I'd recommend it heartily to any and everyone.

If you like the tawny branch of Port wine you should go for a at least 20 years old (or a single harvest) tawny port wine. It will cost you a bit but you'll notice the difference (you should consider cigar's cost *12 to calculate equivalente port wine). One good 20 years old tawny is the one from Real Companhia Velha. If you can't find it try Graham's. they do have 20/30 and 40 years old tawny port wine. About single harvest you can try to purchase Nieeport 1994 (a very good choice). Nevertheless I would encourage you to try the vintage port (ruby branch). Just breth taking port wine. Graham's do have some (Graham's Malvedos 1998 Vintage Port is a superb choice).

One detail I forgot to share about the Whiskers Blake - it is an 8-year-old tawny. :)
