Mine would have to be the 90's. 90's rock such as soundgarden, RATM, offspring, oasis, red hot chili peppers, etc are my all time favorite.

I decided to share my favorite song/video also...

Good grief, where do I begin here?

Even though I currently work in IT, my degree is in music - taught public school for 10 years before changing careers, in fact.

My iTunes is currently at 23K+ tracks. I have a boatload of classical, classic rock (being a child of the 60s that should not be a surprise LOL), drum corps, band literature, mood music, big band, soundtracks, some country/bluegrass - literally too much stuff to mention here.

And I can't readily pick a favorite genre, as I like different genres for different reasons and/or effects. Let's just say I'm one of those creepy "eclectic" people that can't make up his damn mind LOL. :p

Sounds like you have quite the collection! I too love many genres, and could never choose an ultimate favorite. I was referring more to a decade era, such as 70's, 80's, ect. It's still very hard to decide, but being a 90's kid myself..it's not surprising that it is my favorite era of music. Even if someone wasn't raised in the 90's, I think they'd agree that it was an amazing decade for music.

Well, then, given that I would go with the 60s and early-to-mid 70s. Those formative years (insert evil cackle here) doncha know. :p

I agree fully, that era is my close second..that's for sure.

I'm more of an 80's new wave and late classic rock fan. Growing up with a family that listened to it, I never really liked the bubble gum stuff. Being a saxophone player I love swing, big band jazz, anything with a great horn section.

I'm definitely a child of the 70's! Long Live Rock & Roll & Disco STILL Sucks!!! as does Top 40.

haha, disco was pretty horrible in my opinion too..but I will admit it opened some doors for some good stuff in music.

NOTHING beats the 70's. I have over 300 Original CDs of the 70's (few 80's in there). In my bar, that's all I play for background music, the 70's
Long live Rock & Roll!
PS: I like Disco, I competed in disco clubs, it was a blast!

Oooh, geez, I don't think I can narrow it down to just one decade, even! I like all kinds of music, but if I have to pick one, it's gotta be rock-n-roll, baby! :D

Pick a decade? Impossible. LOL I've got everything in my collection from the 20's to "now." My only "requirement" is it has to be fast! I love to dance, but hate slow dancing and slow songs generally bore me...though I do have a very small handful that I like.

Sinatra to Santana...Madonna to Meatloaf...Incubus and Iron Maiden to Irene Cara and the Isley Brothers...if it's fast enough, I usually like it.
