Hi! Just wondering if the "Scale ingredients to '1' serving" is correct???

What with it being 2 fifths of vodka, 1 fifth of margarita mix, 6 cups of lemonade, 2 cups cranberry jucie and 3 cups of orange juice....a serving of "ONE" seems to be incorrect.

Please advise.

You're right, that's a heck of a recipe. We always have a hard time scaling punches correctly because, as you've found, they usually involve lots of bottles. You could just pour a little of each of these ingredients in rough proportion to each other, but many of these punches are best made for a party given the number of ingredients involved.

Over a little ice in a Collins glass, this might be close:

2.5 oz. vodka
(a little more than) 1 oz margarita mix
(a little less than) 2.5 oz lemonade
(a little less than) 1 oz cranberry juice
(a little more than) 1 oz orange juice

The proportions this way are gonna be a bit off, but it'll still be good. Like dm says, the only way to make it the way it's intended is to do a batch for a crowd.

I don?t think in case of drink mixing, anyone can say its an incorrect combination. Drink mixing is completely open for your imaginations. Make as much combinations as you want and surely each and every of them will give you a different taste and pleasure.
