View Full Version : Favorite beverage?
Straight up, no mixers or additions, what's your favorite single liquor/liqueur?
I'm not a wine drinker. So mine has to be Bailey's... 1 bottle of that = a good time..
Yours? ;)

I'm stuck between Woodford Reserve bourbon on the rocks and Drambuie on the rocks as a favorite straight-up. Both are savory sippers with complex flavors that roll very nicely on the tongue.

Really fallen for the flavored Cruzan Rums. tied between the Vanilla and the Bannana.

Hi Everyone.
I would probably have to say a nice glass of Maker's mark bourbon. Nice and smooth, on the rocks at the moment.
Of course this may change next week/ month!

Caipirinhas seem to be the drink of choice for the moment, but as for spirit I like a good small batch bourbon, scotch, and Drambuie is always a good choice. Also a Stiletto is a good alternative to the Manhattan that everyone should try.

Huh? We have to pick one?
Gentleman Jack
I'm pretty sure when I get my hands on some REALLY good tequila, though, Jack is going down.

Just because it tastes too good...Lemoncello. The best is fresh in Southern Italy's Almalfi Coast!!

For me it would definitely be some single malt whisky, neat with a drop or two of water. Highland Park 18 is one of those that have never let me down...
Stoli Blueberry Vodka....simply amazing

up until 2 weeks ago i would have had to say crown as well, but lately i have been leaning towards the Jameson. Not quite as smooth, but a little more bold and flavorful imo.

Can't pick just one...Not with all the great drinks out there!! During a nice Fillet Mignon, Some Yellow Tail Shiraz...Before dinner, I like a Ceaser, extra spicey. During Monday Night Football, A fine brew from Big Rock Brewery. In the evening...A single malt scotch...A fancy night out on the town, one of the hundreds of good Martinis out there.....I could go on and on........

Tequila...but only the good stuff. On my shelves at home, I always keep a bottle of Patron Anejo...or a crazy phallic looking bottle of Asambroso - a super premium and off the charts expensive tasty tequila that I NEVER share with the novice tequila drinkers.

Serious heatwave over here in London right now. A drink I happened to taste last night was the Summer Gin Punch (http://www.beefeatergin.com/mixology/cocktail.php?recipe=Summer%20Gin%20Punch).

Anybody have any favorite War Novels? Mine is Black Hawk Down. Read it a couple years ago and just now decided to read it again.
